I was lucky enough to take an intensive German course at Dein Deutsch, and I would like to share my impressions about it. Before attending this school, my German vocabulary was limited to just a couple of words. I could not read, had no experience of communicating with native speakers, and had great difficulty in trying to understand the meaning of words.

I didn't have high expectations for the course as I realised that the teachers would have a hard time with me, to put it mildly. But the first lesson changed my opinion about learning the language and my ability to do so.

The wonderful teachers of these courses explain everything in the most accessible way possible! They try as much as possible to convey the material in detail to the student, to help with grammar and to correct pronunciation. I can truly say that I felt very comfortable every day. And already after the first lesson I could confidently talk about myself: profession, hobbies, age, etc. I could not have expected such a result!

But I want to warn all future students. Learning a language is not only the teacher's contribution, but also independent work at home. Intensive courses involve relentless brain work. When I returned home, I spent another 2 hours (minimum) studying the material. Sometimes it was insanely difficult to remember new words, to accept German grammar (without drawing analogies with Russian), but the desire to speak German won out!

I want to warn you that attending an intensive course leaves almost no free time. Priorities change, you automatically devote all your free minutes to learning and memorising new words. If you want to immerse yourself in learning as quickly as possible, have a lot of free time and a lot of motivation, this course is definitely for you!

You will be immensely satisfied with the result. And people around you will not believe that in such a short period of time, you will be able to write, read and organise your thoughts into sentences (albeit not so long and complex).

In conclusion, I would like to sincerely thank all the teaching staff for their individual approach, support and incredible patience!
You are very good!
